This very process inspired the Christian Lacroix Maison latest porcelain gift collection “Love who you want!” created in collaboration with the Vista Alegre manufacture.
CLM took immense fun and pleasure in mixing and matching signature images from its haute couture collections, together with its present-day, more modern, collections. New characters thus saw the light, such as Mister Tiger or Doña Jirafa. Yet, plenty more still remain to be created for each coaster or magnet. Play around with the numerous elements at your disposal and come up with your own fancy characters.
Says Sacha Walckhoff, creative director at Maison Christian Lacroix, “Now, for the maybe less creative minds among us, amusing Mix and Match characters are depicted, ready-made, on the vases and secret boxes of that playful collection.”
